Sri Perdoor Narayana Kunder (PN Kunder) started Preethi Tiffanys in 1982 with its humble beginnings on Vinoba Road in Shivarampet, Mysore. Mr.Kunder hailing from South Canara has a natural talent and passion in the hotel business which has proven itself over his 23 year career. In 1995, the restaurant was renamed Preethi Darshini and again to Preethi Sagar in the year 2003 to stay abreast with the current trend. In business for over two decades in the Mysore city center, Preethi Sagar has established for itself credibility for top quality south Indian cuisine and hospitality. The restaurant picked up quick popularity mainly because of Mr.Kunder's affable nature and hospitality and the excellent cooks who delivered quality food, which to date has not changed. Responding to the congestion in the restaurant due to increased business and popularity, in May 2005 Mr. Kunder expanded Preethi Sagar in to the adjacent building, thus greatly increasing the seating capacity of the restaurant. Preethi Sagar is an ideal place to catch up on current affairs as the press officials have made this place a haven for their heated discussions over a nice cup of coffee or tea.
